nice and normal and sane

My younger daughter is an art student at our local community college.

The evening of the morning I wrote my previous post, she told me that the art students were going to have an art show again in December.  She said she and her friends were discussing the art show and, out of the blue, one of her friends asked, is your mom coming to our show again?

I went to their art show last year and I guess it made an impression on my daughter’s friends.

My daughter says that her friends’ moms’ are crazy and not very nice, so her friends – and she – think that I am nice and normal and sane.

It was really nice to hear that.

On a slightly different note, this same daughter got accepted the state university in the city near where we live near.  I’m so proud of her!

And I was SO right about those who actually know you…I love being right. ;)
I can’t tell you how wonderful it is to hear you so much more upbeat than the other day.
Smiling ear to ear for you.

  2. Thank you! Yes, sometimes I feel bad that my blog is such a downer. I’m not always down; I am more down that I wish I was, but I am not always down. Yeah, I’ll concede that you were right! : )

Did you see my reply to you on my previous post, at the bottom of the page? I didn’t expect a response, but I did hope that you saw it.

    Thanks again!!! : )

Of course you are all of those things. So glad that your daughter and her friends recognize that in you, in only confirms that you are not well when you deal with your pah, but with everyone else, you are perfectly normal.

I agree with Igetitalready – it’s nice to hear you so upbeat :)
